What Is ABA Therapy?

What to Expect

Session Structure

Data is collected every session. Your BCBA reviews progress regularly and adjusts the program as your child grows.
Your Role as a Parent
- Consistency at home: Use the same strategies your BCBA teaches during sessions throughout the day.
- Parent training sessions: Attend scheduled training sessions to learn ABA techniques you can apply at home.
- Communication with your BCBA: Share observations, concerns, and wins. You know your child best.
- Celebrate progress: Every milestone — no matter how small — is worth celebrating. Progress in ABA is real and measurable.
- Be patient: ABA is a process. Many families see meaningful progress within weeks; significant gains typically emerge over 6–12 months.
